Went to the Met today with my sister. She wandered off to see the medieval galleries while I went to the Roman statues for a little drawing. Saw a lot of the same that I took pictures of and looked at for reference for my 3d Statue animation. Seemed a little bit like seeing old friends. I only drew a few, though I drew a couple more than once, and I’m leaving the best up. Also, one from a bus ride home of some unfortunate sleeping girl. But she woke up and moved around a lot. Bah.

2nd pic’s my favorite. the rough lines are a great way to define the volume of the figure. i’d like to see more of your drawings rendered that way.
