Tree Breath

This is another piece with my frequent collaborator, with many of the usual ideas and a few new ones to liven things up. The piece is joined by some short verse written to accompany. Click the image to enlarge.

And there existed
Bouncing between
The tree breath
Crushing waves
Chimes singing
Surfing the gusts of wind

She fell in love with
The hot air
That kept my home
My hot air balloon
Afloat

And from above
Between lightning bolts
Athena and comfy chair clouds
I watched the elephants bathe

And kept my fingers
Crossed for Romeo
And for Juliet

I watched dragons shed scales
Against pointed rocks from
Before time

I watched white-sailed ships
Weather ocean waters
Almost as fast as I
Watched the world
Floating on
Tree breath
